Big Lottery Travel Grants allow WW2 veterans from the UK to visit the areas world wide wherever you served
The Big Lottery Fund has announced the opening of its funding initiative, Heroes Return 2, pledging funding for WW2 veterans, spouses, widows and carers wishing to mark overseas anniversaries throughout 2009 and 2010.
Poppy Travel has a wide range of World War 2 tours for which Heroes Return 2 Grants can be applied.
About the Heroes Return 2 Big Lottery funding programme:
Application open/close dates: 1 April 2009 - 31 January 2011
Minimum / maximum grants: £150 - £5,500, depending on the number of people taking part and the destination
